Let’s take a look at new trends for 2021.
This year, it seems to be clear that workers do not wish to return to office and prefer to stay in their home office or alternative work space. The pandemic has a lot to do with that. We here at Team B&E also wish to remain working from our own home office and plan to improve the facilities to reflect that decision. A recent Harvard Business Review article states that mental and physical health is positively impacted when employers support their employees life experience.
We agree that 2020 had instability in our economic future and reshaped our short term and long term goals. We felt the impact ourselves as well as our partners, tenants and family members.
Another key takeaway from the pandemic and how it shapes the workforce is that more employers will adopt stances on current societal and political debates. When employees feel a strong connection to their employer in a commonality, the employees feel a stronger desire to remain invested with their company.
The survey also noted there will continue to be a gender wage gap which is surprising given the alarming changes the pandemic brought to the workforce in 2020.
Here at Team B&E, we hope to crush the gender wage gap predictions for 2021 by hiring and retaining women-led partners, upholding their pricing structure and promoting them within our network to gain new business and grow exponentially. We are taking the steps necessary to investigate local networks and investing in the future workforce in Florida where we are headquartered. We are looking forward to learning how the future generation will contribute and provide insight in new techniques in infrastructure and business model technologies.
